Model Call
The Duluth Wedding Show is looking for models to participate in the Fashion Show at the event on January 11, 2019.
Have the confidence, attitude, and grace to walk the runway? Here’s what we’re looking for:
Models must be 21 years of age or older unless approved by the fashion show coordinator, and 5’7″ or taller (dress shops can not hem dresses for the style show). You’ll also need to be available for an interview (if necessary), dress fittings in either Duluth or Grand Rapids (depending on your assigned store(s)). You must also be available for a night rehearsal on Friday, January 10th and all day on January 11th for hair & make-up, rehearsal, and fashion show. You may need to provide your own footwear and/or accessories and will need to have appropriate undergarments for the day of the show. Models should have a valid email address that is checked frequently, as this will be a primary means of communication.
As a model you’ll need to be comfortable walking down the runway in front of a large crowd. Our selection process takes into consideration confidence, attitude, willingness to learn, ability to be a team player, experience, height, and variety in shape and size.
The Perks:
Models will receive a small stipend for participating. They will have their hair and make-up done by the professional team at The Salon at Ulta (Hair and make-up will be done at the DECC). Photos taken by a professional photographer that can be viewed on our website and social media and gifts provided by the Duluth Wedding Show and sponsors. This is a great opportunity to build your portfolio and make new connections!
